Refunds & Returns
It is the policy of Helena’s Performing Arts Foundation that all sales are final although exceptions may exist in the face of extraordinary circumstances. Below, you will find a more descriptive explanation of our refund policy:
Neither the ticket purchaser nor Helena’s Performing Arts Foundation shall lose any rights hereunder or be liable to the other Party for damages or losses on account of failure of performance by Helena’s Performing Arts Foundation if the failure is occasioned by government action, war, terrorism, fire, explosion, flood, strike, lockout, embargo, act of God, or any other cause beyond the control and without the fault or negligence of Helena’s Performing Arts Foundation, provided that they have exerted all reasonable efforts to avoid or remedy such force majeure. Such excuse shall continue as long as the condition preventing the performance continues. Upon cessation of such condition, Helena’s Performing Arts Foundation shall reschedule the performance. In the event of force majeure, Helena’s Performing Arts Foundation shall give as much advanced notice as possible. If the performance is not able to be rescheduled due to force majeure, refunds will not be provided.
In the event that unauthorized charges are made to your credit or debit card by Helena’s Performing Arts Foundation, a refund will be made in whole. Refund process time may take up to 2 weeks, although it generally happens much faster. The refund process time does not begin until Helena’s Performing Arts Foundation is notified of a disputed amount and written statement of dispute is received by the Executive Director, Treasurer or Membership Chair. The written statement must include the date of the transaction in dispute, the amount, your full name and address and a detailed description of the circumstances surrounding the unauthorized transaction. In the event of a clerical error leading to an authorized transaction, but disputed amount, simple verbal or email communication should be sufficient to issue a refund for the disputed amount. In the event of a clerical error leading to uncollected funds from an authorized transaction, Helena’s Performing Arts Foundation reserves the right to amend the transaction to include the difference.
In the event that a show is cancelled, every effort will be made to reschedule the event or replace the act with a performer of similar nature. Event dates, times and artists are subject to change without notice. Refunds will not be issued in these circumstances. If the show is not replaced or presented on another date, a full refund for that show will be issued at the earliest convenience of Helena’s Performing Arts Foundation.
All other reasons:
All other reasons for requesting a refund will be handled on a case-by-case basis and the ultimate decision to issue a refund lies within the discretion of Helena’s Performing Arts Foundation.
